Description

These fiery chiles rank at medium heat on the scoville scale, and can be used for salsas, sauces, and stir-frys. Most resembles chile de arbol, but with a more dense, meatier skin. Japones chiles are most frequently used for pure, simple heat. Use them to make a spicy salsa, or infuse into oil for a hot chili oil.
